James Stewart Jones

James Stewart Jones was born November 28, 1955 to James Roland (Buddy) Jones and Ara Jackson Jones. He was the third child born of this union. He departed this life September 4, 2010 at the age of 54.

Stewart Jones accepted Christ at a late age. He was a member of Mt Horeb Baptist Church. He graduated from Blanco High School where he played many sports.

Stewart was united in Holy Matrimony to Patricia Weeaks and two children were born into this union, Christopher Roland Jones and Alicia Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife and two children, his mother that he dearly loved, four brothers; Michael Jones, Llano, Clarence Jackson and William City both of Austin, and Leo City of Denver, CO, four sisters; Barbara Booe, Blanco, Brenda Monroe, Dale, Rachel Jones, Blanco and Patricia Alexander of Austin; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, two special nieces; Shawntranice and Bethany Jones and a host of relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9 at Crofts Funeral Home, Blanco with Brother Lawrence Coffee officiating.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
