Team VIP Gymnasts Travel to Round Rock for Competition

The level 4 VIP team athletes competed in their second competition this fall season at Platinum Gymnastics in Round Rock on August 28.

The VIP Team included Level 4 Achievement gymnasts Miranda Bosque, Lexus Carton, Haley Chappell, Hannah Ford, Skylar Maurer, Amalie Mills, and Hannah Perine. Level 4 Placement gymnasts included Meghan Cleveland, Zoey Madigan, and Jordan White. Both teams are coached by Stephanie Turner.

Scores in vaulting included Madigan 9.25, Cleveland 8.75, Bosque 9.3, Carton 8.2, Chappell 8.6, Ford 8.95, Maurer 8.3, Mills 9.1, and Perine 8.85.

On bars, Madigan received an 8.85 with a 4th place, Cleveland 8.8, White 8.3, Bosque 8.6, Carton 5.9, Chappell 7.35, Ford 7.85, Maurer 7.0, Mills 7.0, and Perine 6.55.

On balance beam, Madigan took second place with a score of 8.95, Cleveland third place with a 9.1, and White fourth place with a 9.0, Bosque 6.75, Carton 7.3, Chappell 7.9, Ford 8.95, Maurer 8.0, Mills 8.05, and Perine 7.1.

Cleveland took first place with a 9.2 on the floor exercise, Madigan second place with an 8.9, White scored an 8.6, Bosque 8.8, Carton 8.7, Chappell 8.6, Ford 8.65, Maurer 8.2, Mills 8.4, and Perine 8.3.

In all-around, Cleveland made third place, Madigan second place, and White fifth place.
