Trinity Lutheran Church at 7th and Hwy 281 North in Blanco will host its Annual Fall Fundraiser on Saturday, October 9, 2010, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the church. Funds raised will benefit Trinity’s Scholarship Fund, Youth Ministry, and other local community benevolences.

Trinity will also host a Prize Drawing/Cash Raffle. Prizes include: two $500 cash prizes; a LG 32" LCD HD flat screen TV, valued at $500; a $50 Super S Foods Gift Certificate; a $200 Lowe’s Gift Card; and a $200 HEB Gift Card. Tickets are $10 each, or 6 for $50 and are available from any Trinity Lutheran member, or by calling the church office at 830-833-4771. On October 9, beginning at 12:30 p.m., the prize/cash raffle tickets will be drawn. You need not be present to win.

Also beginning at 12:30, there will be a Live Quilt Auction. The beautiful hand-pieced quilt was created in honor of Heifer International, a non-profit organization that seeks to end hunger permanently by providing livestock, and the training to take care of them, to families all over the world. The quilt features blocks with pictures of the various animals and programs that Heifer International provides and was donated by Mrs. Barb Geistfeld. The quilt is currently on display at Trinity Lutheran Church.
