The Blanco County Republican Party invites all voters in Blanco County to attend a Town Hall Meeting and Voter Information gathering on Tuesday, September 28 at 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Old Blanco County Courthouse in Blanco City. The purpose of this meeting is to provide voters and opportunity to get voter registration information and cards, learn how to vote early by mail and to get the dates for early voting in person. There will be music and candidates for office there to speak and answer voters’ questions.
Micah Coston will speak at the Blanco Rally on September 28. He is retired from the military where he served as an officer with the Navy Seals. During an operation in Afghanistan, his team was ambushed and he was hit 4 times by machine gun fire. He was evacuated and eventually recovered from his wounds. He recently spoke on KENS-TV in San Antonio.
Johnny B. Rogers, a member of the State Republican Executive Committee, will speak on the importance of voting November 2nd and how the outcome of that vote will affect Texas redistricting.
Melissa Goodwin, Republican Candidate for Justice of the Third Court of Appeals, will speak and be available to talk to voters.
For local races, Republican Candidate for County Judge, incumbent Bill Guthrie, and write-in Independent candidate, Tex Riley, have been invited to come and speak to the voters.
