Do you want to have the most fun ever, and promote your beloved Blanco?!

We still need volunteers in the following areas:

• Lavender Farm Ambassador

Be one of 12-18 who are specially trained by the Lavender Farmers themselves in the “ins & outs” of Lavender and what’s happening at the Farms. Then, share your knowledge with folks in the Information Booth or at the farms (your choice). Visit the farms prior to the festival and receive a gift from each grower. Shifts of 2-4 hours each.

• Wine and Beer Tent (reportedly the most fun)

We need 40-60 wine lovers to pour for our wineries, or sell tickets, or peddle beer! Shifts are 3-4 hours each.

• Speaker’s Pavilion

Ahhh! Air-conditioned bliss. Be one of 8-12 hosts for the guests attending talks and demonstrations upstairs in the Courthouse.

• Other

We still need backups for set up on Friday, logistics, information booth, soda & water booth, etc.

There will be an “All Volunteer Training and Party” on Tuesday, June 3, at 6:30pm at the Courthouse. Receive a free 2008 Lavender Festival T-Shirt, a program, and a “goodie bag” from Chamber Members for all of your hard work! Snacks and samples provided by the Farmers. Purchase lavender products at a special Volunteer price!
