Pioneer Museum Event a Success
Wednesday, September 22, 2010 • Posted September 21, 2010

The highlight of the Pioneer Museum Auction was the bidding on the miniature horse donated by Mrs. Jane Macon, Alamo Miniatures. The high bidders were Chris Kopacz and Myra Atkins. This was a very successful event for the Museum and will be continued as a principal fund-raising project. Everyone is invited to come enjoy the new exhibit “Then and Now.” Children will be particularly interested in many of these items that were not in use when they were growing up.

Music provided by The Dry River Band, together with hot dogs and lemonade, added to the afternoon’s pleasure of enjoying the new exhibition.

Exhibit Chairman Pat Vallone, Food Chairman Linda Howard, Entertainment Chairman Rebecca Howerton, and Auction Chairman Nell Krueger, as well as many volunteer helpers, made it a success for all.
