Harmon Qualifies for Mounted Shooting World Championship

Kevin Harmon of Blanco recently qualified at a shoot in Graham, Texas for the Cowboy Mounted Shooting World Championship. Competitors will be coming from the US, Canada, Australia, Germany and Sweden. The CMSA World Championship will be held in October in Amarillo Texas. Kevin and his horse APHA mare Investa Zippin Lue, aka "Zip" and have reached the world level of competition in their first year competing in mounted shooting.

Kevin was honored and awarded the membership number of 9,000. Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association® is the Fastest Growing Equestrian Sport in the Nation. Mounted contestants compete in this fast action timed event using two .45 caliber single action revolvers each loaded with five rounds of specially prepared blank ammunition.

Kevin graduated from Blanco High School in 1999 and attended Merced College in California where he was two times all Conference Catcher with a batting average that made him a predominate clean up hitter.
