Lester Yett, age 58, of Blanco, Texas, formerly of Marble Falls, Texas, died September 28, 2010. He was born July 30, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Lester was a faithful volunteer at the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Blanco, Texas. He was also an active Juneteenth Community Member in Marble Falls. He served in the US Army and was stationed at Ft. Hood.

He is survived by his father Leslie Yett of Blanco, Texas; god mother Isadore Yett of Blanco, Texas; and numerous other relatives in Blanco and Marble Falls. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral service will be Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Blanco, Texas. Interment will follow at the Marble Falls City Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
