Lady Panthers Suffer District Loss - Sports - Blanco County News

The Blanco Lady Panthers traveled to Harper for a district clash with the Lady Longhorns on Friday, October 1. The Panthers started strong, winning the first set 25-19, but the Longhorns rallied the next three sets for the win. Junior Abbey Weaver led the team with 14 kills and 6 blocks. Senior Tara Tredaway set 22 assists with Junior Micaela Klein serving two aces. Alex Gustafson made 12 digs.

The Panthers will face two tough opponents this week, playing the Comfort Deer on Tuesday, October 5 and the Ingram Lady Warriors on Friday, October 8.
