Sybil Laurette Lee, 92, passed away October 8, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lampasas, TX, to Julian Laura Pierce and Ruby Willa Stewart Pierce. Sybil retired after 35 years with the University of Texas Law School. Sybil was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Marion Meredith Lee; granddaughter, Dena Knoll, and her brothers, James and Alvin Lee. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Lee Knoll and husband Clifton of Blanco; and son, Bobby Lee and wife Becky of Colorado Springs, CO; eight grandchildren, Lou Ann, Ronnie, Richard, Lisa, Troy, Karen, Donnie, and Blake; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; aunt, Mae Durbin and many other loving relatives and friends.

Viewing began at 11:00, followed by graveside services at 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 11, 2010, at the Blanco Cemetery, Blanco, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Austin Grace Hospice, 7800 Shoal Creek Blvd., Suite 116W, Austin, TX 78757 or to Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 2164, Austin, TX 78768.
