Live Oak School Reunion Held
Wednesday, October 27, 2010 • Posted October 26, 2010

On October 9, nine former students of the Live Oak Country School and some of their family members enjoyed an afternoon meal and lots of fun at the Masonic Hall in Blanco.

Elizabeth Sorrell, soon to be 100, was asked to tell about students getting into trouble and she answered, “We were all very good.”

There was a time of silence remembering Margaret Blackburn, Clarence Waxler, and Ruby Jones, who passed away during the year. Also, get well wishes for Frank West, recovering from hip replacement, and remembering Vera D’Spain in a Boerne Nursing Home.

The next reunion is planned for October 15, 2011.
