The Lady Panthers endured a harsh loss to the Harper Lady Horns on October 19, falling in four games. The Lady Horns took the first game, 22-25, and the Panthers rallied to tie the count after the second game. The third game was a long battle for momentum with Harper winning it 24-26. With this loss, the Panthers needed a big win in the October 22 match against the Comfort Deer ...and the Lady Panthers delivered that win. With a slow start, the team lost the first game, but the next three games belonged to Blanco.

Tara Tredaway and Micaela Klein led the team with three aces each. Tara set 39 assists to her teammates. Alex Gustafson made 22 digs and Abbey Weaver swatted 21 kills and 6 blocks.

The Blanco squad concluded their district schedule on Tuesday, October 26 against the Lady Ingram Warriors. They have captured a play-off position and will receive a bye for the bi-district round. Area, the next step in the play-offs, will be scheduled for November 4, 5 or 6 and an exact location, date and time will be announced.
