No one was seriously injured in a rollover accident that occurred just before 8 am on Tuesday morning near the intersection of 4th and Mesquite streets. Two vehicles were involved, with the driver of the car reportedly fleeing the scene.

The driver of the overturned truck was taken to a hospital with minor injuries while the driver of the car was put into police custody.

Traffic slowed as passers-by got a look at the vehicles and police officers investigated how the cars collided. Firefighters and EMS also responded to check out the drivers and secure the scene.
