Shelba Jean Riedel

Shelba Jean Riedel of Blanco passed away October 28, 2010. Shelba was born in Lucien, Mississippi, on October 23, 1939. She called both Natchez, MS, and San Antonio home for equal amounts of time.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Smith, her mother, Audrey Sykes, step-mother, Pearl Smith, and brother, Fred Smith.

She is survived by her first husband and father to her children, Junior Collins, her two children, Eugene Collins and Serena Vanderslice, her grandchildren, Jason Gandy, Eric Collins, Tanner Collins, and Hannah Dunaway, her sister, Sue Goff, brother, Nick Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved by all that knew her and will be deeply missed.

Funeral services were held on Monday, November 1, at Crofts Funeral Home.
