Originally, I’m from New Jersey, but my husband and I found some nice country property and had a house built in Blanco. We have been living here for about 5 years. In that time, we have acquired 2 horses, 1 goat and 3 dogs.

Apart from taking care of our new home and the animals, I found some time to do some acrylic/oil paintings. I enjoy painting horses, flowers, and landscapes.

One day while browsing the art gallery in Blanco, someone told me about their art club. Well, I joined shortly thereafter. I think it’s a great club; it gives one the opportunity to display/sell their artwork at the library and many of the events that take place in Blanco. I’ve sold two paintings so far, which gave me the enthusiasm to paint more.

Being that I am a Christian, I was inspired to paint this picture of Jesus. This is my favorite Bible verse that I chose for this painting: John 3:16... “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
