Dear Editor,

Having studied the financial statement for the Blanco Cemetery Association in the Blanco County News, April 30, 2008, I have three questions for the directors.

First, what are membership dues? I have four plots in the cemetery, and no one has notified me about membership dues. I have asked several other association members, and they don't seem to know either.

Second, maintenance expenses are listed as $15,477.65. Does that figure include the salaries that are being paid? Salaries are usually a separate line item.

Finally, I believe the majority of the Association members would appreciate an open meeting to discuss the care of the cemetery. I think our Blanco Historic Cemetery is really beautiful with all of the flags flying in the breeze.
