At the event Cele placed 1st Overall Novice, 1st Novice Men, 1st Junior Men, and 2nd Open Men. These placing’s qualified Cele to be invited to compete in largest most prestigious natural bodybuilding and fitness championship in the world; November 2010 in Reno, Nevada for the selection of Team USA. If selected, Cele would be a part of Team USA and compete at Olympic level.

The success of this event is credited to his sponsors, Dr. Douglas Pautz, Daniel Peterson and Brad Hamman. Without their support and encouragement, participation in this event would have not been possible. Credit also goes to Choppy and Sylvia Romero (parents), Stephen Mackey (Director of Young Life), Robert Holmes, and Dennis Garrett for their continued mentoring, understanding, and reassurance.

Cele is a native of Blanco, graduated from Blanco High School, and a recent (August 2010) graduate of Texas State University graduating with a B.A. in Finance. He is employed part time at Riley’s Bar-B-Q and part time at Security State Bank.
