George Davis Stevenson, 93, passed away November 8, 2010 in Round Rock, TX. He was born in Blanco County to Charles and Viola Stevenson. George was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Weldon, John, and Charles Stevenson. He is survived by his two sons, David Stevenson of Hutto and Sam Stevenson and wife Jackie of San Gabriel. George is also survived by five grandchildren, Aiyanna, Cheyenne, Lucas, and Levi Stevenson, and Kristopher Newland and many other dear relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00pm Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Crofts Funeral Home, Johnson City where funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday with Rev. Ernest Topper officiating. Interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Johnson City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016, or to First Christian Church of Johnson City, PO Box 848, Johnson City, TX 78636

Pallbearers will be David Cranor, Sonny Withers, Cubby Huddler, Jerry Cade, Charles Thomas Whetstone, and Perry Sutlemeier. Honorary pallbearers will be D.R. Bushnell, Jerry Kent, Denny Wayne Stevenson, Richard Riesner, James Franklin Stevenson, Terry Topham, and James Wheststone.
