In their final game of the season, and their Junior High careers, the 8th grade Panthers unleashed their talent on the Luling Eagles, and the game was over in the 2nd quarter as Blanco rolled to a 30-0 lead.

The Panthers started the game with an onside kick, with Colton Perkins making the recovery at the Eagle 46 yard line. On the first play, Carson Kipp, behind great blocking from the O-line, dashed 44 yards for the first of many Panther scores. Devlin Moore ran in the PAT, giving Blanco an early 8-0 lead. Hunter Goodman, Grant Calzoncit, and Andrew Burgess played tough defense in holding the Eagles on downs, and Aikman Elrod ripped off a 50-yard TD run, followed by a pass to Devlin Moore for the PAT, extending the lead to 16-0. The Panther defense forced another punt, and Carson Kipp returned it 37 yards to the Luling 30. Kipp then streaked for 30 yards and the score, followed by Kyle Gray booting the first of three perfect PAT kicks, giving Blanco a 23-0 lead. Aided by a pass completion and penalty, Luling was able to drive to the Blanco 27, but Alex Juarez and Colton Perkins played stellar defense in holding the Eagles on downs. McKay Adamson zipped off 51 yards on a reverse down to the Eagle 4 yard line, and from there Kipp bashed his way in for another score. Gray booted the PAT, and Blanco led 30-0 at the half.

The start of the 2nd half saw the Panthers take the opening kick and drive down to the Eagle 1 yard line, where Devlin Moore pounded in for the final TD of the game. Kyle Gray kicked the 3rd PAT, and the Panthers led 37-0. Luling managed to score a TD late in the game, but Dylan Tesch knocked down the 2-point pass attempt, leaving the final score at 37-6. The 8th grade Panthers finished the season 8-0, outscoring their opponents 217-61, and had an overall record of 17-0 for their Junior High careers. Carson Kipp, supported by an outstanding offensive line, was a standout for the season, eclipsing over 1000 rushing yards in only eight games. All the Panther players worked hard and did a fantastic job this season, and special thanks to Coach Kipp and Coach Wyatt for being such positive and motivating leaders.
