The Blanco County Community Choir is preparing for their annual Christmas performance.

This all volunteer choir has been bringing lovely Christmas music to the community since 1975. A few members have been with the choir since that beginning date, but the personnel and numbers change from year to year.

The program this year is “A Joyful Christmas” and it will bring a variety of songs from traditional to contemporary. The choir is under the direction of Vickie Pautz.

The performance in Johnson City will be Friday, December 3 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 8:00 p.m. The choir will perform in Blanco on Sunday, December 5 at the First Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to come. On Friday night, go by the Live Nativity at the Methodist Church in Johnson City and then come on over to the Catholic Church at 8:00pm for some beautiful music.
