Judy Brewer held a birthday party for her husband, Bobby, on Saturday, the 27th. A good time was had by all!

Dorothy Dillon is still feeling under the weather. We hope to see her out and about soon. You won't be able to miss her - she is the fastest walker in Blanco!

Sparky, the renowned canine owned by the Trimbles, has forsaken his friend, Marci, the lovely poodle, for another female - Lily. However, Lily and Sparky haven't seen each other lately, so, Marci, don't give up hope.

Our editor, Charles Willgren, is making a weekend trip to Fort Collins, Colorado, to see his sister, Caroline Willgren, as well as a certain “special friend.”

Don't forget Virginia Beare at Live Oak – she isn't up to snuff and needs good thoughts.

The Blanco County Community Choir still needs voices - there are only 5 weeks left before the concert, so come on Sunday afternoons at the Baptist Church to practice and help us make a joyful noise!

Bob Daughdril took a poker cruise a couple weeks ago. Haven't seen him since his return – hope they didn't clean him out and he ended up washing dishes for his passage home.
