As 2010 comes to an end, the Blanco Chamber would like to reflect back on the exciting year. The 2010 Annual Banquet welcomed over 100 attendees to hear key note speaker, former Texas Ranger Joaquin Jackson. Quarterly Mixers were hosted by Healing Arts Community Health Center, Blanco Luxury Suites and Ranches of Brushy Top. The Chamber offered a Customer Service Excellence Workshop, facilitated by LCRA (in cooperation with PEC) and enlightened more than 10 members on how to be a better front person for Blanco. The 6th Annual Blanco Lavender Festival drew more than 15,000 visitors to Blanco in June. Ribbon cuttings were held for Blanco Riverside Cottages, WB Saloon & Cycles, SWBC Mortgage and Old Oaks Ranch. A new website was launched and is proving to be a huge success with members and visitors. The first annual Blanco Chamber of Commerce Golf Open was a hit with all who attended and is already on the calendar for 2011! And perhaps, most important, the Blanco Chamber welcomed 41 new members in 2010. If you are looking for a way to meet new people and give back to the community, consider volunteering for the Chamber!

We are looking forward to another successful year in 2011 and to having your involvement!
