Ronald Clyde McCarty, 64, passed away on December 30, 2010 at his home in Henly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Louise Draper, and by his parents, Clyde Calvin McCarty and Geraldine Sharp McCarty.

Ronnie was born on August 8, 1946 in San Antonio. He served in the Air Force for four years during Viet Nam. He loved the outdoors and hunting and worked as a hunting guide.

He is survived by his son Wayne McCarty and his daughter Laura Jenkins, both of Henly. He is also survived by two brothers, Donnie of Bluffton and Stephen of Cedar Valley, a sister, Stephanie Martinez, and two grandchildren, Blake Cecil Jenkins and Jadyn Wayne Jenkins.

Visitation was Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at Crofts Funeral Home and services were held on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 6:00pm at Crofts Funeral Home in Blanco.

Memorials may be made to the Henly Baptist Church and the Friends Foundation.
