Free Tax Filing Assistance at Blanco Library
Wednesday, January 19, 2011 • Posted January 18, 2011

It’s that time of year again! It’s time to file those income tax returns. The Blanco Library has free paper tax forms for filing, or if you are as confused by this process as I am, there is great news for you! Diana Blackburn, Financial Planner and Tax Consultant, is volunteering her time and expertise to help area citizens get their income tax returns completed and in on time.

Ms. Blackburn will be at the Blanco Library during the afternoon and evening on the first Thursday of February, March and April. Each session is one hour and appointments are required. If you have a gross household income of less than $57,000, you are eligible. Just call the library at 830-833-4280 to make an appointment. You will need a copy of your 2009 tax returns and possibly other information, but you can find out exactly what to bring when you call for your appointment.

Don’t miss out on this wonderful free service. Again, February 3, March 3, and April 7 from 12 noon until 8:00pm at the Blanco Library. Check it out!
