The happy — Dr. Ramsour's 100th birthday! I am just a little late with the congratulations, but they are heartfelt! Another happy — Sheryl Smith-Rodgers has a new addition to their lovely pink house (and Carol Davidson double dog dared me to put the news in here, so can't let it go by). Just stop by when you're in the neighborhood and ask Sheryl if you can see her new water-saving device! You will be amazed! We should all be so lucky...

The sad — Kerby Barbe. It is always sad when a life ends the way his did, no matter how or what or why. Keep his family in your thoughts.

And the best news of all — Lavender Festival plans are already being made. We are gearing up for the biggest and best one of all! Hang on to your hats!!!

Speaking of hats, the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo will be here pretty soon. Some good concerts and a lot of good rodeo action on tap.
