Wednesday, February 2, 2011 • Posted February 1, 2011

Brenda Freed’s Music Studio, part of Creative Moondance Treasures, Inc. music business of which Brenda is President, moved to 608 4th St., Blanco in July 2010 after operating in Wimberley for 19 years.

Brenda has a Masters in Music Education/Music Therapy. She taught K-12 Vocal Music in Iowa and pioneered the Music Therapy Department at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics before arriving in Texas in 1991 — by bicycle!

Since then, she has been teaching voice, piano and guitar privately to students of all ages (4 to 84), male and female.

Brenda’s ultimate goal for students is that they will enjoy music for the rest of their lives, while feeling good about themselves and what they are doing during the learning process. She believes students are motivated by learning to play or sing in the styles of music they enjoy.

The company also has a line of Effortless Music Instruction products that complements Brenda’s teaching, and that are ideal for self-study. For more information about lessons or our products, visit brendafreed.com or call 512-426-0301.
