Healing Mass Coming To Good Shepherd
Wednesday, February 2, 2011 • Posted February 1, 2011

Father Justin Udomah, pastor of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Johnson City, recently met with the Pastoral Council and announced some changes in the Mass schedule. Sunday Mass will continue to be at 9:00am on Sunday. He is adding two weekday masses. There will be Masses held on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm. He will also have a Mass Of The Sick, otherwise known as a “Healing Mass,” on the first Friday of each month at 6:00pm. The Pastoral Council is very excited about the additional Masses and especially the “Healing Mass.”

Father Udomah came to Good Shepherd in June of 2010 and is the Pastor of Good Shepherd and Saint Ferdinand’s in Blanco. Father Udomah was Associate Pastor at Saint Theresa Catholic Church and has his own radio show on Catholic Radio on Saturday at 6:30pm, which repeats on Sunday mornings at 8:00am. The name of the radio broadcast is “The Words Of Challenge.”

The members of Good Shepherd are very proud to have Father Udomah here as our pastor. Father Udomah wants to invite everyone to come and visit, and hear the Gospel of our Lord. You are invited to come to the “Healing Mass” or any Mass, regardless of your denomination. If your need for healing is spiritual, mental or physical, come and receive the healing of the Holy Spirit at Good Shepherd. If you are a Catholic and have not visited our church in a while, we urge you to come and revisit us at Good Shepherd. Everyone is welcome.

Good Shepherd is located on Old Austin Highway Loop (CR 213) in Johnson City.
