Pedernales Electric officials are pleased with the participation of members at open forums held last week throughout the company’s 8,100-square-mile service territory. PEC hosted forums in nine locations from Sept. 25-27 to offer members the opportunity to submit comments and suggestions regarding changes to the utility’s business operations.

“We are always glad to meet one-on-one with our members,” said PEC Assistant General Manager Jeanell Davis, “and their input is highly valued. Their views will certainly be considered in the changes made by the Board of Directors by the end of the year.”

Approximately 450 of Pedernales Electric’s 218,000 members attended the forums and spoke with PEC staff, management and Board members. Visitors were invited to submit written comments about company business that will be reviewed by the utility’s Board of Directors.

“Our members have consistently given PEC high marks on customer satisfaction in third-party surveys,” noted Davis, “but it’s also important to hear it directly from members and get their feedback first-hand.”
