Bronte Smith, daughter of Dave and Deanna Meurer, granddaughter of Jim and Elsie Meurer, and niece of Debra Meurer, has signed with a full scholarship to the University of Memphis. Bronte has been involved in Track and Field events all thru her junior and high school years. She has been all over the USA in Track & Field events. Her area of track and field is hurdles. Several years ago, she was in California for National Track & Field as a lead up to Junior Olympics. After interviews with LSU, Texas Tech, Texas State University and UTSA, she signed with University of Memphis.
