Lots of people are looking for work for the first time, or at least the first time in a long time. If you are one of those people, does the thought of a job interview remind you of an interrogation scene in an episode of “Law and Order”? Is the idea of writing a resume as overwhelming as the idea of writing a best-selling novel? And how do you even find those open positions?

Well, help is on the way. Your Blanco Library has arranged free assistance for you in your job search. This is the time to brush up your computer skills, create the perfect resume, and look for that job you have been wanting. The dates for these classes are March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Teresa Montalvo from the Kyle Public Library will be available to assist you. To make sure you don’t miss this great opportunity, call the Blanco Library at 830-833-4280 and reserve your spot, there are only ten available!

Classes scheduled are:

March 3 – 1st, Computer Basics, 9:30am - 11:30am

March 10 – 2nd, Internet Basics, 9:30am -11:30am

March 17 – 3rd, Email Basics, 9:30am - 11:30am

March 24 – 4th, Searching for a Job online, 9:30am - 11:30am

March 31 – 5th, Applying for a Job online, 9:30am - 11:30am
