Cub Scouts from Pack 497 had a “Go See It” to the Blanco County News. Charles Willgren, editor, gave the boys a little history of the newspaper and explained different positions that could be available for those who might be interested in going into the news industry. He also explained how important it was to make sure what you print is true and to be sure and check with the correct sources.

The Cubs were delighted to go through some of the past copies of the Blanco County News and see what history had already transpired since their births. The highlight of the history search was seeing a newborn picture of their classmates, Kolby and Kelton. Most of the Cubs agreed that they would enjoy being reporters and have all agreed to keep their eyes open and report anything newsworthy.
