Artist Kenneth Wyatt Trunk Show on Feb. 26 at Rain Bird Gallery
Wednesday, February 23, 2011 • Posted February 22, 2011

Forty years ago, Kenneth Wyatt picked up a small brush and dipped into umber oil and began to paint-and 9,000 paintings later he is one of the most popular and respected artists of the Southwest. Blanco is fortunate to have his representative Bobby Edwards, with his Wyatt Trunk Show in a thirty foot trailer, visit the Rain Bird Gallery on February 26.

While his combined trademark is often a cowboy, a horse, clouds, canyons and prairie grass, he paints landscapes, children and portraits. Bobby will have paintings, prints, giclees, books, crosses, and sculptures from Kenneth Wyatt.

Rain Bird Gallery regularly carries Kenneth Wyatt’s work, but the owner, Becky Walker, says, “We always love the opportunity to show just what all is available to the public from this West Texas artist.”

Smoked brisket sandwiches will also be served for $6.00 at the event. For further information, call 830-833-5900.
