On Tuesday, the LEO Club met with David and Peggy Armstrong of the Good Samaritan Center to present a donation in the amount of $500 to the organization. The LEO Club raised these funds by working for the Skeeter Bass Champs Fishing Tournament at Lake Buchanan last April. The group felt the Good Samaritan Center was an outstanding organization to give a donation to since it serves the needy families in our community.

The LEO Club, sponsored by the Blanco Lions Club, is a community service organization for Blanco High School students.

“Your group sets an example for the rest of our community,” Mr. Armstrong said. “We are excited and grateful to receive this donation on behalf of the Good Samaritan Center.”
