The Christian churches in Blanco are again celebrating Lent by serving lunch on each Thursday during the 40 days before the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is your opportunity to visit other churches in the Blanco community, and fellowship with your neighbors! Join us for lunch that will strengthen your bodies and an uplifting message for your souls during the lunch hour, 12 to 1 pm.

The schedule is as follows:

• Thursday, March 10 – noon sharp! First Baptist Church

• Thursday, March 17 – noon sharp! Trinity Lutheran Church

• Thursday, March 24 – noon sharp! St. Michaels/New Hope Lutheran at Gem of the Hills

• Thursday, March 31 – noon sharp! Blanco United Methodist Church

• Thursday, April 7 – noon sharp! St. Ferdinand’s Roman Catholic Church

• Thursday, April 14 – noon sharp! Mt. Horeb Baptist/Kendalia Community at First Baptist

These meals have been donated by the churches and members of the churches, and if you’d like to give back to the church, all donations will support the Blanco Minister’s Alliance, which is a service to the community in time of need. This is a wonderful time to meet new friends in Christ Jesus!
