Jo Nell Haas reminds everyone that the Friends of Blanco State Park will meet on Wednesday night, March 9, at the pavilion in the park. Bring a covered dish! Everyone is encouraged to come and join.

Stripes Plans Opening

The Stripes convenience store chain has purchased Blanco General (Exxon south of Super S). The station will re-open under the Stripes banner next month.

BISD Offices Open for Filing

Even with March 14 being a school holiday, the Blanco ISD administration office (814 11th St.) will be open from 7:45am to 5:00pm for those wishing to apply for a place on the May 14, 2011 school board ballot.
