Design Guidelines are the written tenets according to which a historic preservation commission interprets the preservation ordinance. Guidelines guide applicants’ work and the commission’s decisions.

With Design Guidelines the Blanco Historic Preservation Commission will be able to provide clear and accurate information about the care and maintenance of old buildings and how to achieve compatibility for infill construction.

The completion of the Design Guidelines will be July, 2011 and will become a public document and will be available to the public.
