Dear gentle readers,

If it weren't for Pat Lane, I wouldn't have known this! Barbara and Joe Crowley, who were high school sweethearts in San Antonio, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family at the Uptown Blanco Restaurant on March 4. Family members came from several Texas towns and from Oklahoma as well. Their daughter and granddaughter, Christy and Olivia Miller, from California, were here to visit for several days. A trip to Ireland will complete Barbara and Joe's celebration.

A reader called the BCN office about a piece of mail she received just last month, on February 6. The letter was postmarked in Comanche, Texas, on November 22, 1989.
