Woman's Club Reps Visit UT Architectural Exhibit

Representatives of the Blanco Woman's Club, Blanco Library Inc., and Blanco County South Library District, were invited to Austin to view an exhibit in the University of Texas Architectural Library, of the designs completed by students for the proposed new Blanco Library. Dean Fritz Steiner announced awards won by one of the students on this project. Brett Wolfe received the Excellence in Design award from the School of Architecture for his work on the Blanco Library Project.

He also received an additional university-wide award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research, sponsored by the University Co-op and George Mitchell. The George Mitchell award carries with it a $5,000 honorarium. Dean Harpman has also received special recognition for this project with Blanco.

These models and designs have been exhibited in Blanco and can now be viewed on the campus in the School of Architecture Library.
