Dear editor:

I read Charlotte Thomas’ farewell letter in last week’s issue, which was stuck way back in the classified ads. Personally, I thought it would have been more appropriate to run it further up in the paper. Nevertheless, I would just like say what a great asset she was to me during my time as editor, 2002 to 2004. She worked hard and never complained. She took on projects without being asked and got them done on deadline. I always appreciated her sunny disposition and good nature. Oh, sure, we had our differences occasionally (heck, who doesn’t?), but she sure made my job a lot easier because of everything she took on in the office.

I’m guestimating that Charlotte worked at the Blanco County News nearly seven years. For her dedication and hard work, I just wanted to applaud Charlotte and say Thank You!
