Proverbs 4:20-27 - “20 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words.
21 Do not let them out of your sight, kep them within your heart;
22 for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body.
23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
24 Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.
26 Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm.
27 Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.” NIV
What good advice. Wow! God’s Word is health and life to our bodies!
I’m learning to pray for everything, with people who really believe in Jesus, and God’s Word. I pray with people, on one accord, for help with situations when I don’t know what to do, and read the 91st Psalm, often.
Jesus said in Matthew 18:19"Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.” AMP
Psalm 37:34 “Put your hope in the Lord. Travel steadily along His path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed.”
I trust in the Lord, for He is good, His mercy endures forever, and I sing! Sing! when you’re crying, sing when you’re glad. Thank Him for the little miracles, that He gives us each day, and trust that He is in control of the big problems, too. I bought a non-slip bath tub safety mat, and this morning slipped on it, but something caught me, so I didn’t fall onto the commode or sink. I was going down, my feet were up, and my legs would have hit the side of the tub, my head directly on the commode and chest against the sink. I believe it was angels, because it wasn’t my hands, they were up in the air. My body righted itself and my feet went back down in the tub.
Psalm 37:23 “The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. 24 Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.”
One thing I do know, is Jesus said in John 8:11 “And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” So we know when we go to Jesus and tell Him we’re sorry that we made another mistake, we can rest assured that He forgives us. He knows our hearts and if we are really trying.
1 Samuel 16:7 “ 7 But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
When we put God first, He helps us take care of all our problems. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. 34So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.” God bless you and yours.
