In a continuing effort to better serve the sellers and buyers of Blanco County, the Realtors of Blanco county met again Friday for refreshments and property tours. This week’s gathering was hosted by United Country J. Myane Realty and Guardian Title Co., Inc. Realtors from all over the county met early for coffee and orange juice and tasty treats from Blanco’s well known Deutsch Apple and Fredericksburg’s Dietz Bakery. After refreshments and conversation, the group caravanned to six different properties in the south end of the county. “Written descriptions and website info are great tools but there is nothing as effective as actually visiting a property to keep it fresh in your mind, and enable you to talk intelligently about it to a prospective buyer,” said Jerry Myane.

Those attending included: Charlotte Mathews, Carol Bigot, Ed Ely, and Janice Fox, all of ReMax Home Ranch Realty in Johnson City; Pamela Capps of Texas Proud Real Estate; Jayne Lightfoot, Chris Hall, Debbie Homeier, and Dawn Delaurentis, all of ReMax Genesis in Blanco; Mike Ashley of Landwest Realty; Missy Jernigan and Billie Jean Parker, both of Lone Star Home Loans; Doug Smith of Farm Bureau in Blanco; Marcy Westcott of the Business Card Source; Cheryl Pratt and Michelle O’Rear of Century 21 Town and Country; and Doug Milhollon of Cattleman’s National Bank of Blanco. The hosts were Dean Myane, Carla Ernst and Bonnye Elsey of Guardian Title Co., Inc. of Blanco, Jerry Myane, Sam Mowery, and Margo Davis of United Country J. Myane Realty.

These Realtor meetings alternate between the south and north ends of the county and are held every other week. They are informative and enjoyable for all and the Realtors involved extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to Charlotte Matthews of ReMax Johnson City who has taken on the task of scheduling and organizing the tours.
