Sonora gets Bucked by the Panthers

Blanco Middle School Panthers took on the Sonora Broncos on Thursday, November 1.

The seventh grade started out the night as they took an easy victory with a final score 22-0.

Tim Goodman made two touchdowns and Darren White scored one.

Two point conversions were made by Sam Isenberg, Tim Goodman and Jessie Ruiz. Ruiz also had a fumble recovery.

The eighth grade took a hard fought victory with a score of 20-14.

Adolf Alvarez scored a touchdown with a kickoff return and James Perez and Weston Copenhaver each had one touchdown for the night.

The two point conversion was made by Weston Copenhaver.

Matt Pepper had a fumble recovery.

The Panthers will face Mason in Mason for their final game of the season. Games scheduled to start at 5:00 and 6:30.
