The Bucket List

The Bucket List is a movie about 2 older fellows (Jack Nicholson & Morgan Freeman) who end up in the same hospital room together and learn of their fates together. An odd couple for sure they end up making up a list of things they want to do before they die and while there very different souls they both learn from one another in time to cherish a few important things in their life that they had lost. You’ll laugh, probably cry, and like most of us here in Blanco, be thankful that you’re not in the big city rat race so you don’t lose track of the important things in life. 3 1/2 paws

This is by far one of my favorite movies this year! The Bucket List, starring Morgan Freeman (one of my favorite actors) and Jack Nicholson, is a great combination of Grumpy Old Men and The Ultimate Gift. Sounds like a weird combination but the humor is great and at the end it has such a great moral story. I laughed so much at the comedy in this movie that it made me cry and then I just ended up crying at the ending. This is a beautiful story that I highly recommend renting, a story that makes you laugh and one that teaches you one of life’s most important lessons!
