Blanco United Methodist Church wrapped up its 2008 Vacation Bible School with a Children's Program and social activity in God's Big Backyard (theme) on Thursday evening, June 12th. After a week of learning how to serve others and God, the children demonstrated what they learned through a skit, singing, and reciting Bible verses. The evening began with a 'pizza party' and concluded with a homemade ice cream social in the courtyard. The children took home crafts made throughout the week, along with memories of scavenger hunts and water games that we hope will last until the fun starts up again next year!

We wish to thank parents, grandparents and all family members who made it possible for the children to participate each evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the children and experiencing this very special time with them. A BIG THANKS to all volunteers who helped make this year's VBS a success by contributing their time and making significant donations! At BUMC, we say, 'GOD IS GOOD....ALL THE TIME!'
