Dear Editor,

I currently work at the Good Samaritan Center and food bank as a volunteer and clothing chairperson.

Last week a young man (teen) came in with a box of 12 cans of vegetables as a donation. I thanked him and asked him if he’d like a receipt. He said “Yes, and also for this.” He handed me a cashier’s check for $25.00. I was very impressed because I feel he worked for this. I hope everyone who reads this will be impressed. He will remain nameless as I don’t want to embarrass him. He will know whom I’m writing about. We at the center wish him good luck in his life for his generosity.
