At the July 8 meeting of the Chimney Valley EEA, officers for the 2008-2009 year were installed and colorful plants presented to the incoming officers: President, Glenn Bishop; Vice President, Omce DePew; Secretary, Jan Redmond; Treasurer, Leona VanDeVelde, and Delegate, Delores Bevers.

The meeting was held at the home of Berneice Hokkanen with 13 members present. Todd Swift, Blanco County Extension Agent, presented an informative program on Tropical Plants followed by the business meeting.
