Giving Thanks To God

Jesus said in John 14:1-4 – “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.” NLT

It’s comforting to know that Jesus is coming back for us. Thomas said they didn’t know the way to where Jesus was going.

“6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. 7 If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!” John 14:5-7

1 Chronicles 16:11 – “Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.”

God fights our battles for us! Give your battle to the Lord. Jesus pleads our case to God the Father.

Romans 8:34- “Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.”

Hebrews 5:7- “While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God.”

You see in Hebrews 5:7 above that even Jesus cried out to God with tears, and I might also remind you when Jesus prayed, He knelt, and He laid on the ground. He humbled Himself unto God. Do you? How do you pray? See how Jesus prayed in Luke 22:41, and Matthew 26:39.

James 4:10 – “10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”

Everyone has battles they face at some time in their life, but truly the battle is not ours, but the Lord’s; and we are attacked because of our faith in Jesus.

Don’t give up Christians, when it seems you are being attacked from all sides, submit your life (and all your problems) to the Lord, and He will resolve them all, heal you and whomever you pray for, and even give you peace and joy while you’re going through. Realize that it’s the prince of the power of the ‘air’ that is working through your friends and family, job and roadways (even when you’re driving) that are attacking you, it’s not the actual person, who may love you very much.

Don’t be angry with the person; it’s the enemy working through anyone and everything he can, to hurt you, because the bible says the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy all who love Jesus.

You may see others prospering, but it’s only for a little while, because later, you may see that same person lose everything. We can’t take nothin’ with us!

Jesus will truly fight your battles for you, if you give them to Him, through prayer. God does answer prayer. We can all be intercessors, by praying, even though we’re not perfect ourselves, God knows our hearts. God answers prayers.

James 1: “6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

Prayer is a step of faith. James 2: “22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?”

Hebrews 2:8 – “For You have put everything in subjection under his feet. Now in putting everything in subjection to man, He left nothing outside [of man's] control. But at present we do not yet see all things subjected to him [man].” AMP Selah this one! Yeah! Grab a faith-filled hand and pray!
