Summer Reading Program Comes To A Close
Wednesday, July 16, 2008 • Posted July 15, 2008

The whole community is invited for a Family Music Night with local favorites, Hold’Er Newt! this Friday, 7/18 @ 6pm in Bindseil Park off the Nature Trail, in the Pecan Bottom for the conclusion of the Blanco Library Summer Reading Program.

The Blanco library would like to recognize the business community and especially the sponsors of the program, and the many talented individuals who generously gave their time to promote summer reading to the children of Blanco.

We would also like to thank the NJHS and NHS volunteers who were there every single Friday to help with all the work that had to be done to set up and tear down for all of the big weekly events.

Last but not least, all of the families that participated in the program, a certificate signed by the governor will be awarded.

Anyone who still needs to have their circus tickets stamped may do so at that time. It will be the last opportunity to have these stamped. Heron’s Nest Lavender Farm will provide lavender lemonade! See you in the park!
