Cilantro’s to Remain Open During Recovery

Gaspar Enriquez, Owner and Chef of Cilantro’s Restaurant in Blanco was critically injured in an accident on Highway 281 near the Spring Branch Post Office on the morning of Wednesday, September 19. He was driving north toward Blanco when a pickup veered into his lane and struck him. He was air-lifted via Life Flight to Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland AFB. After hours of surgery to mend multiple broken bones, he was placed in the Intensive Care Unit for monitoring. His prognosis is good, but with many months of rehabilitation ahead.

His wife, Margarita, intends to re-open Cilantro’s for breakfast and lunch until Gaspar is fully recovered.
