Dorothy M. Beckmann Wood of Spring Branch, Texas passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008. She and her late husband started and operated their own company, Ray Wood Real Estate, for 44 years. She was well known as a “Super Salesperson”. She grew the business into what it is today. Dorothy was the ultimate caregiver to the very end. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Wood Hinojosa and husband Martin of Seguin, Texas; son, Michael Wood and wife Kimberly of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, KC and Ty; brother, Jerry Beckmann and wife Sherilyn of Spring Branch, Texas; sisters, Gloria Stahl and husband Robert of Marion, Texas, and Anita Beutnagel and husband William of Atkins, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family received friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North. Services were held at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Jack Bush officiated. Interment followed in Hill Country Memorial Gardens.
